The FDA Approves a Third Medication for Fibromyalgia

Well, it doesn’t work on dopamine, but it’s making fibromyalgia more real to unbelieving doctors and to the public. The medication is called
Savella or Milnacipran. We’ll see what the public has to say about it. When the FDA approves a drug that addresses dopamine, I’ll applaud then!

I would like to know who has tried the ‘3rd new fibromyalgia drug’ and if it is also taken with Lyrica and Cymbalta.
Cymbalta and Savella cannot be taken together because they’re the same class of drug. They both work on the same brain chemistry. I have heard a few people say they have been helped my it, but I don’t hear any miracles happening.
It may can be taken with Lyrica since Lyrcia is not an antidepressant. Be sure to pose that question to your doctor.
